“It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men’s hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit.” – Robert Louis Stevenson
In addition to my Mansur Gavriel clutch gifted to me by my husband, one of my favourite gifts I received for Christmas was this Bay poncho from my mother-in-law. It’s a great piece to layer over solid coloured dresses, or jeans and a turtleneck (though you’re more likely to see me in the former than latter). Being petite, ponchos tend to overwhelm my small frame, however, I like the length of this one, especially how it’s a bit shorter in the back, because it doesn’t just look like I’m wearing a gigantic blanket. It is also very warm, therefore being both functional and fashionable – perfect for a walk in Ojibway Park!

Poncho: Hudson’s Bay. Dress: Aritzia. Shoes: Audrey Brooke (old, similar here) Bag: Mansur Gavriel. Necklace: Baublebar. Bracelets: Baublebar. Lips: Dior 999.
