Every year since 2008, my husband and I have made it an annual tradition to visit Franklin Cider Mill in the town of Franklin, Michigan. Nothing says fall to me like a cup of warm apple cider and donuts, not to mention a cosy dress, scarf, and boots! While pumpkin spice seems to be the most popular flavour of this season, I tend to enjoy apple and cinnamon more. I even remember learning in elementary school about the different types of apples, making applesauce, and even picking apples in a local orchard. I’m a sucker for nostalgia, so maybe that’s why I like apples so much! Nevertheless, I always enjoy our yearly cider mill visit, and look forward to its tasty treats that for me, fully commence fall.
